Start fresh with a brand new world. There are two ways to do it:
- Keep your old world: rename the world folder, for example to
world-old. - Don't need it: delete the world folder.
Either way, a new world is made when your server starts.
Reset your world
- Stop your server.
- Open Server Files. To keep the old world, right-click the
worldfolder and choose Rename. - Call it something like
world-old, and press Enter. If you'd rather delete it, choose Delete instead. - Start your server. It makes a brand new world for you.
On Paper and Purpur, the Nether and the End are kept in their own folders, world_nether and world_the_end. Rename or delete those too for a completely fresh start.
Go back to your old world
- Stop your server.
- Delete the new
worldfolder. - Rename
world-oldback toworld. - Start your server.
