Turn on the allowlist on a Bedrock server

The allowlist is Bedrock's version of a whitelist. Only players on it can join.

Turn on the allowlist

  1. Stop your server.
  2. Open Properties, and search for allow-list. Switch it on, then click Save.
  3. Start your server.

Add and remove players

Open Console and type:

  • allowlist add Gamertag: let a player in
  • allowlist remove Gamertag: take them off
  • allowlist list: see who's on it

If a gamertag has a space, put it in quotes: allowlist add "Steve Builder"
