When Minecraft Bedrock updates, players on the new version can't join an older server. Updating your server fixes that.
Update your server
- Stop your server.
- Make a backup, just in case. Open Backups, click Create backup, give it a name, and click Start backup. It runs in the background, so you can carry on.
- Open Server Files. Right-click the file called
bedrock_server, and delete it. Your worlds and settings stay where they are. - Open Settings, and click Reinstall Server. This downloads the latest version of Bedrock for you.
- When it's finished, start your server.
Your server is now on the latest version.
