Add datapacks

Datapacks add new features to your server, without needing mods.

Get a datapack

Download datapacks from sites like Modrinth or Planet Minecraft. Pick the version for your Minecraft version, and keep it as a .zip file. Don't unzip it.

Add it to your server

  1. Open Server Files, then your world folder, then the datapacks folder inside it.
  2. Click Upload, and choose your datapack zip.
  3. Restart your server, so the datapack loads.

Check it worked

Type datapack list in the console. Your datapack is in the list.

Good to know

Datapacks that change world generation, like new biomes, only affect parts of the world that haven't been explored yet. For the full effect, add them before exploring, or with a new world. See Reset your world.
