How to join my PiglinHost server from my Xbox?

At PiglinHost we offer free cross-platform integrations which means both Java & Bedrock users can join! If you have not already asked us to set this up, please create a Support ticket or message us on Discord and our team can do this for you.

Once done, please use the below instructions to join from a Xbox 360 Device. This is needed to be done to allow it to add custom servers.

1. Open your Xbox settings and select the Network Settings option.
   
2. Go to Advanced Settings and choose the DNS Settings option.
3. Select Manual and you will be taken to a screen to manually enter your DNS settings
   
4. For the Primary IPv4 DNS enter: 104.238.130.180
5. For the Secondary enter either: 8.8.8.8 or 1.1.1.1
   
6. Save the changes and the console will perform a connection test

Once you get your connection settings saved you can go ahead and open the game. From there the process to join a server is the same regardless of the console you are using.

1. Click on Play and go to the Servers tab
2. Click on any of the pre-added servers on the list
   
3. A new menu will appear when you try to join the server
   
4. Choose the Connect to a Server option at the top of the screen
   
5. Enter the Address and Port of the server you want to join. When you asked our Support to make your server crossplatform we will have given you what address and port to use.
6. Choose the “add to server list” option to add it to your list, then click Submit

Alternatively, if you have a mobile phone you can download our free ChunkConnect app which allows you to easily connect to any Minecraft server from your Nintendo Switch, Xbox Console or Playstation! Simply enter your server details, start a session and your server will appear on your console to join! No need to tweak any DNS settings or changes.
