We are happy to announce our latest development to our panel, which is our all-new Automatic backup system.

This is linked to our off-site backup system and, therefore does not use any of the storage space on your service. Please note due to this, it may take longer than before to create/restore your backups!

You can view all of the automatic backups in the Backups tab, just under your regular manual backups as shown below.

Please read the FAQs below as they are important! If you have any further questions, please create a Support ticket or ask in our Discord channel and we will be happy to assist.

FAQ'S

When are backups taken, and how many do we get?

Our backups are initiated at 01:00AM UTC daily - please note due to the number of servers that we have, the backup of your server may be completed up to an hour after this time. All servers come with 3 days' worth of automatic backups in case of emergencies.

Is there any additional cost to this service?

There is no extra cost to this service to our clients, as always everything we offer is inclusive of our pricing.

Should we still create manual backups?

YES! For Palworld users especially, we would still encourage you to make manual backups whilst the server is stopped just to ensure you have some solid backups. This system is designed as a fail-safe and backup to your backups if you will :)

For Minecraft servers, this system should be more than fine.

Can we still download/delete the automatic backups?

You will not be able to delete any of the automatic backups. You can only restore them or download them. Please note as these are stored off-site, downloading them may be slower depending on your region.

Where are the backups stored?

All of our backups are stored on our off-site system which is based in the US - West region. This does mean restoration/downloading of backups for our EU clients may be slightly slower!

This feature has been tested, however, if you find any issues or any of your backups are failing for any reason please reach out to Support!
