Kick, ban and unban players

Keep your server friendly. Open Console in the menu on the left, and use these commands.

Kick a player

kick Name reason removes someone from the server. They can join again later. For example: kick Notch Please be kind in chat

Ban a player

ban Name reason stops someone joining at all. For example: ban Notch Griefing

Unban a player

Changed your mind? pardon Name unbans them.

All the commands

• kick Name reason: remove them, they can rejoin
• ban Name reason: block them from joining
• pardon Name: unban them
• ban-ip Name: ban their IP address
• banlist: see who is banned

You can also see everyone who is banned in Players, under the Banned tab.

Good to know

• Operators can use these commands in game too, with a / in front. See Make a player an operator.
