Crossplay lets players on phones, tablets, Windows, Xbox, PlayStation and Switch join your Java server, alongside Java players. It's included with every Java plan.
Before you start
- Crossplay needs your server to run Paper, or a Paper-based version like Purpur. You can switch in Server Versions. See How server versions work.
- Using Fabric? Contact our Support team, and we'll set it up for you.
Turn on crossplay
- Open Crossplay in the menu on the left. Your Java details are on the left, and on the right it says crossplay isn't set up yet.
- Click Install.
- Restart your server, so it can download crossplay.
- Once your server is back online, click Activate Crossplay.
- If you see a message asking you to restart, don't worry. Crossplay needs one more restart to create its settings, so restart your server again.
- Click Activate Crossplay one more time. The panel gives your server a port for Bedrock players, and restarts it for you.
Crossplay is on! The Crossplay page shows the address and port Bedrock players use to add your server.
Joining from Bedrock
Bedrock players use the Bedrock address and port from the Crossplay page, not your Java address. Not sure how to join from a console or phone? Click your device at the bottom of the Crossplay page for step-by-step help, or see Join your Bedrock server.
Using a whitelist?
Add Bedrock players with fwhitelist add Name instead of whitelist add. See Turn on the whitelist.
