Install plugins

Plugins work on Paper, Purpur and Spigot servers. Using mods instead? See Install a modpack. Not sure which you have? See How server versions work.

Install a plugin

  1. Open Plugins in the menu on the left.
  2. Search for the plugin you want, for example LuckPerms.
  3. Click Install. The newest version is installed straight into your plugins folder. If you need an older version, use Versions instead.
  4. Restart your server, so the plugin loads.

Check it worked

Open Console, and type plugins. Your plugin is in the list.

Plugin not on the Plugins page?

You can upload plugin files yourself. Put the .jar file in the plugins folder in Server Files, and restart. See Add a plugin manually.
