Set your spawn point

Choose exactly where new players appear, and stop people breaking blocks around it.

Find your spawn coordinates

• In game, press F3 and look for the XYZ numbers.
• Or simply stand on the spot and type /setworldspawn in chat. You need to be an operator for this. See Make a player an operator.

Set the spawn from the panel

1. Open Console.
2. Type setworldspawn, then the X, Y and Z numbers, and press Enter. For example: setworldspawn 120 70 -45

Protect your spawn

Spawn protection stops normal players breaking blocks near spawn.

1. Open Properties and search for spawn-protection.
2. The number is how many blocks around spawn are protected. Set it to 0 to turn protection off.
3. Click Save, and restart your server.

Operators can always build at spawn. Spawn protection only works once at least one player is an operator.
